ACOUSTIC GUITAR HUMIDIFIER - Instrument Care From Planet Waves. Protects your guitar even in the driest conditions. Prevents Body Cracks and Warped Neckes. Never Touches Guitar Body. Foam insert releases moisture evenly and prevents leakage. Suspended by the strings inside the guitar body, the humidifier releases moisture evenly & slowly inside your guitar, yet never touches the guitar's body. The open-cell phenolic foam insert disperses moisture slower and more evenly than ordinary sponge and shrinks less than 1% when dry vs. sponge, which can deform dramatically. The humidifier is also equipped with a Syringe, which allows you to control the amount of water used when filling or refilling the humidifier.
HUMITRON - From RDM Enterprises. Humitrons are made of the most advanced material available. The tubes were custom extruded of the finest non-vinyl and non-allergenic resin, soft enough to exert pressure around the F-holes/sound-holes and sufficiently sturdy to m inimize contact with the inside parts of an instrument. Ou water-suction stems within the Humitrons absorb water ten times of their weight and then slowly release it through the holes.
The humidifier that lets you see when it's ready for refill. Oasis works by allowing water to evaporate through the fabric. Unless the refill cap is opened, outside air cannot get in to replace the evaporated water. The vacuum created by this process causes the fabric to shrink inward. You can easily see when Oasis needs to be refilled.
*Easy to refill - just remove cap and fill with water.
*Long-lasting refills - can last 2-4 weeks between refills
*Double Leak Protection - waterproof and will not leak. Humigel water absorbing crystals provides a second layer of preotection trapping the water in a gel matrix
*Stabilizing bar - when storing your guitar on its side, the stabilizing bar spreads it weight over all strings, not just the 3rd and 4th strings.
Provides 50% more daily humidity output than the original oasis, for guitars in drier environments. A digital hygrometer mounted inside your case will help you determine just how much humidity you need. Because of its higher humidity output, you will need to refill the Oasis Plus+ every 5-7 days.
For Stringed Instruments: Guitars, violins, cellos and mandolins. The case humidifier has 2 very small neodymium magnets located inside the seam of the humidifier. The magnets attach to your case by either a clip or a small sticky back stainless steel strip which adheres directly to the inside of your case. These magnets are extremely powerful so that the humidifier will be held strongly in place.
Case attachments: There are two case attachments included with this humidifier. The first is a "belt style" clip. If your case does not have a skirt connectiong the lid of the case to the main body of the case, this clip can be used by fitting it vertically over the back edge of the case with the flat side facing inward.
The other stainless steel attachment has a sticky back material with release tape on one side. Remove the tape and attach to the floor or back wall of the case. This may be removed without damaging the lining of your instrument.
